A smooth and creamy layered drink made with sweet ube, fresh milk, and a soft matcha cream cloud. Finished with a light matcha dusting and dehydrated orange for a refreshing touch.
Ingredients
- 5g ube powder
- 2g matcha powder
- 100ml fresh milk or milk alternative
- 20ml fresh cream
- 30ml vanilla bean syrup
- 100g ice
- 1 dehydrated orange wedge
Method
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ube powder and vanilla bean syrup. Whisk until fully dissolved.
- Add the fresh milk and stir until smooth. Set aside.
- Fill a glass with ice and pour in the ube mixture.
- In a separate mixing jar, combine the matcha powder and fresh cream.
- Use an electric frother to whip until light and foamy.
- Gently pour the matcha foam over the ube mixture.
- Lightly dust with matcha powder and garnish with a dehydrated orange wedge.
For the best result: Whisk the ube powder with vanilla bean syrup until fully smooth, and whip the matcha cream until light and airy for a clean cloud-like layer.
